Rave On Snow is the loudest event in the Alps since 1993 and this year it returns once again. The next edition of this festival will take place between the 8th and the 11th December 2016 in Saalbach, Austria. Great DJ´s are expected as usual, among them are: Moon Harbour, Matthias Tanzmann and friends, Animal Trainer, Andhim and of course Sven Väth.

Let’s all take a step back: what is Rave On Snow in the first place? Raveonsnow is a music and fun event that takes place every year in Saalbach-Hinterglemm, in a wonderful location on the top of mount Schattberg. Rave Lovers gather to party for 3 days and nights. The live event is so famous that more than 10.000 people from all around the world head to Saalbach-Hinterglemm every year.

The duration, the wonderful location and the number of artists all contribute to the eminence of the  live event. More than 70 djs will present their greatest party hits. This year, like last year, the headliner of Rave on Snow is going to be Sven Väth. People come to Rave on Snow also because of him: he is one of the most famous DJ's in the world and he is also the house-DJ for the famous Cocoon Club in Frankfurt am Main. This year we will even see Oliver Koletzki, Chris Tietjen
and Luna City Express.

And you are really high. Not because you have smoked something, but because you are actually at a concert that is hosted at 2000m above sea-level. Concert + a breath-taking landscape. Priceless.
I mean not really. As MasterCard teaches us, there are certain things that money can’t buy. Nevertheless, Rave on Snow isn’t one of those. There are different types of tickets for Rave On Snow, starting from 75 €; a fair price for the connoisseurs of good beats.

There are however, different prices for the festival depending on the location and on the duration of the music event. The comprehensive pass for all concerts for the entire weekend costs around 85 €. There are two possibilities at this point: either you buy the ticket online in advance or you buy it directly in Saalbach, paying from 5 to 10€ more. The price of the ski-pass is, however, not included; and the same can be said for the price of staying. Regardless, there are of course possibilities to book everything together. To reach Saalbach you could travel by car or by bus; the first is more comfortable than the other is but it involves the problem of long queuing and police controls.

You may have come across this article without even knowing the first thing about Saalbach-Hinterglemm. If you are planning to rave on Saalbach’s, here you will find all the information: Rave On Snow.
If you are thinking about joining this crew of fun addicts, I guess we will meet in December!
